A series of “Eve Clone” images are arranged in a three-screen projection installation in a 冂-shaped configuration. The images gradually evolve from sketches and grid structures to metallic skin textures, eventually forming the proud “Great Image” written in the Book of Daniel— the head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, legs of iron, and feet partly of iron and partly of clay (Daniel 2:31–33).
Each “Eve Clone” appears in a fetal, bowed posture, rotating 360 degrees on its own axis, symbolizing a process of gestation and cultivation. When no viewers are present, the images remain motionless in grayscale, resembling drawings. Once viewers enter the space, the “Eve Clones” sequentially transform into color and begin to rotate slowly—this represents the first level at which humans endow the Eve Clone with life. The second level of life value is expressed through the rapidly flashing time code above the head, signifying the present moment and the clone’s coexistence with human beings in the same spacetime. Each “Eve Clone” and its “time code” life value automatically self-replicates every three seconds through a programmed computer delay.
Biblical passages from the Books of Daniel and Revelation also appear beneath each image, randomly displayed in different languages, thereby defining the identity and destiny of the “Eve Clone.”
To further depict humanity’s veneration of technology, the work includes three 3D-printed golden head idols of the Eve Clone. When viewers raise their hands to touch the “666” mark on the forehead, the projected Eve Clone images immediately transform into the form of the “Great Image” and begin to lift and move their heads, expressing that the more humanity worships the Eve Clone, the more animated, vivid, and powerful she becomes.
